You are a law-abiding citizen. You believe the popular firearm you own and legally purchased is your lawful property.

But that was yesterday. That was when California was only a gun control state. Today, California is a gun confiscation state, and your guns are up for grabs.

You see, Attorney General Dan Lungren has decided that gun control is out, and gun confiscation is in. Through administrative fiat, tens of thousands of popular firearms previously approved and legally owned in California are now subject to confiscation. What’s worse, Mr. Lungren is providing little notice of his intent to take your personal property to the scrap heap.

Two bills in the state legislature will make this bad situation worse. SB 1339 (Calderon) and AB 23 (Perata) will restrict

California gun rights, strengthen Mr. Lungren’s hand and add an air of legitimacy to Mr. Lungren’s ongoing confiscation scheme.

Please join us. Call Governor Wilson and ask him to intervene to stop the injustice.

Rights should be restored. Confiscation should be stopped. And legislative bills that shift gun confiscation into high gear should be taken to the scrap heap.
