Husband of one, father of four; nationally syndicated radio broadcaster, newspaper columnist and cohost of MSNBC's "Equal Time." Combat-decorated Marine; best-selling author; Founded Freedom Alliance and Guardian Technologies International, Inc.; holder of three U.S. patents; NRA Life member. Born: San Antonio, Texas, 1943; Graduate, U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland: 1968; served 22 years as U.S. Marine, Combat awards include The Silver Star, The Bronze Star for Valor and two Purple Hearts for wounds in action. Assigned to President Ronald Reagan's National Security Council Staff: 1981-1986; helped plan Grenada rescue operation; capture of Achille Lauro hijackers; U.S. raid on Quadaffi's terrorist bases in Libya; support for Nicaraguan Freedom Fighters and rescue of American hostages in Beirut. Targeted for assassination by Abu Nidal; candidate for U.S. Senate from Virginia, 1994.
