Why NRA wins: "Thank you for educating me"

Sandy Carey-Barrie wrote: All my life I have hated guns, I was raised around hunters and guns. I depised them and was very afraid someone would end up dead that was close to me. That never happened. 4 years ago, I finally decided to try a hunters safety program to prove it was all just kill animals and slaughter innocent creatures of our already decaying world. I am the wife of a hunter and have experienced marital problems because of this. When I went to the hunters safety program, a whole new world was awaiting me. I was so surprised to learn of the respect for nature these people (you people) have that I have made a complete turn around. I hunt now and as a matter of fact, the first hour I went hunting and the first shot fired, I got a bull elk. I have learned sooooo much about nature and wildlife that I am dumbfounded. I have learned of herds too big in winter and have seen the starvation. I have also seen smaller and much healthier and stronger herds. The reason I write this letter is to apologize for my ignorance and to let you know you have my full support. Thank you for educating me. Sandy Carey-Barrie
