Retired Executive Director, Women's Shooting Sports Foundation. Active hunter and competition shooter. Founding member of The Committee For A Strong and Effective Leadership. NRA Committee assignments: Executive Committee, Education & Training, Women's PoliciesVice Chair, Shotgun-Vice Chair. Played significant role in introducing Eddie Eagle® GunSafe Program to Texas schools and it supporting Texas Right to Carry legislation. Winner of NRA's 1999 Sybil Ludington Freedom Award. Designed NRA's Women on Target Program. Currently serving third three-year term as NRA Director. Works to insure that the Second Amendment is recognized as our "First Freedom" and that the NRA's most important role is to protect that freedom.
