STUDY EXPOSES LAWSUIT HYPOCRISY
|

"...NCPA's study indicates that firearms in the hands of law-abiding citizens save far more money
in preventing crimes and injuries than criminals cost the cities..." |
While gun ban proponents and several big cities continue to
push forward with their reckless lawsuits against firearm
manufacturers, distributors, and dealers, a recent study by the
National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) has exposed the suits
as being in conflict with their alleged goal -- recovering the
cost to the cities due to the actions of criminals and negligent
individuals' misuse of firearms.
NCPA's study indicates that
firearms in the hands of law-abiding citizens save far more money
in preventing crimes and injuries than criminals cost the cities
through their misuse of firearms. The net financial benefit to
this country because of firearms, according to the study, ranges
as high as $38.8 billion, easily dwarfing the medical and law-
enforcement costs incurred because of the actions of armed
criminals.
