NRA Nominating Committee candidate, actress Susan Howard is an NRA Life member actively committed to the defense and protection of the Second Amendment. Born and raised in Texas, she is a shooter, a strong Constitutionalist and ardent supporter of the NRA Institute for Legislative Action. She is featured in NRA/ILA public service ads on firearms issues, Refuse To Be a VictimŽ and NRA membership commercials. Well-known for her TV role in "Dallas," her movie and TV careers have been highlighted by professional awards including Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. Susan is the current Chair of the Public Affairs Committee, serves on the Ethics Committee and the Executive Committee. Governor George Bush appointed Susan to a term on the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission, which she has completed and is now serving as a member of the Texas Game Warden Associations' Operation Game Thief Committee. Susan Howard was re-elected to the NRA Board of Directors in 2001 for a 3 year term. |
