HELPING THE VICTIMS IN LITTLETON
|
Lost in the media blitz over promoting gun control are the
surviving victims in Littleton and their families, all still
working through the recovery process. There has been a great
deal of attention placed on various funds set up to "assist"
victims, but many of these are simply dedicated to establishing
memorials, rather than directly aiding those who suffered the
most. Other funds are reserving their moneys to be used solely
for counseling, rather than assisting with the immediate needs of
paying medical bills.
In order to directly assist the victims of
Columbine, the Colorado State Shooting Association (CSSA) has
established a fund, started with a $500.00 contribution from the
Aurora Gun Club, that will be used to help pay medical and other
expenses incurred by the victims and their families. If you wish
to donate to this fund, please make your check payable to the
CSSA, and note that your contribution is for the Columbine Victim
