     NRA Life member; current member of NRA Board of Directors and renominated by the NRA Nominating Committee; Life member and former Treasurer of the Law Enforcement Alliance of America (LEAA). He has appeared on numerous television and radio programs expressing his strong support for gun rights and our Second Amendment freedom. He is a gun collector, competition shooter, and avid supporter of right to carry legislation. Mr. Rowan actively supported NRA's Crime Strike initiative, and helped push parole reform and truth-in-sentencing through the ultra-liberal District of Columbia City Council. A former FBI Special Agent and Deputy U.S. Marshall, he is nationally recognized and has written extensively on matters of public safety and gun rights in national publications. He has recently relocated from Washington, D.C. to San Mateo, California, where he will devote his efforts to expand Concealed Carry rights for all law-abiding Americans.

Mr. Rowan was re-elected to the NRA Board of Directors in 2002 for a 3 year term.
