successful U.S. Supreme Court challenge against "Brady Law" in landmark
case, Printz v. United States; recipient of numerous commendations and awards
including NRA's prestigious Carter-Knight Freedom Fund Award; ardent
supporter and defender of the Constitution, particularly the Second
Amendment, in appearances on: "Nightline," "48 Hours," "The Donahue Show,"
and "CNN," as well as national and international publications. Life member:
Law Enforcement Alliance of America; Honorary Life member of Westminster
(Massachusetts) Rod & Gun Club; former member: Montana Sheriffs & Peace
Officers Association, Montana Coroner's Association, Western States Sheriff's Association,

NRA Personal Protection Instructor since 1991; born in Hamilton, Montana 1946;
married to Janie, 3 daughters, 9 grandchildren.
Sheriff Printz recently returned from a dangerous year in Iraq serving as
an advisor to Iraqi national security forces in preparation for the difficult
job they face. Since his return, Sheriff Printz has continued to effectively support our fighting
men in unique ways, as in his endorsement of the non-profit
Project Bore Snake.
Sheriff Printz was re-elected to the NRA Board of Directors in 2005 for a 3-year term.
