Served on NRA's panel, "Dispelling the Myths - Women and Guns." Active author/public speaker on NRA's issues. 1997 NRA Law Enforcement Officer of the Year. Two-time National Police Pistol Combat (PPC) Woman Champion; National Police Woman Semiautomatic record holder; Police Revolver Distinguished; 1996 Pennsylvania Governor's 20 Champion; Georgia Governor's 20 list; won numerous regional, state and local shooting championships. NRA, federal, state and local Certified Police Firearms Instructor. Ten-year decorated veteran of Philadelphia Police Department, with assignments in patrol, firearms instructor, armorer, firearms examiner/ballistician, and mounted patrol. Conducted numerous training seminars on firearms safety and proficiency. Currently assigned as a Lead Firearms Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. Working to develop a more cohesive relationship between the NRA and the Law Enforcement profession. Ms. Dunigan was re-elected to the NRA Board of Directors in 2002 for a 3 year term. |
