CA Members thank Wayne LaPierre

CA member Mike Schrader reads the petition
|
NRA Members' Councils organized an impromptu petition drive that gathered
920 California member sigs in the hours before the Meeting of Members and presented by a Members' Council delegate. Receiving a standing ovation,
the petition read:
"We, the undersigned California NRA members, wish to publicly express
our heartfelt gratitude to NRA Executive Vice President, Wayne R. La
Pierre, Jr. for his assistance in helping us defeat several
anti-freedom measures in the California Legislature. Through his
leadership and guidance of the California Members' Council Program, a
HANDGUN LICENSING BILL, and just this week, a .50 CALIBER RIFLE BAN
was soundly defeated."
