Nominated for re-election by NRA Nominating Committee. Legislative Policy Committee member. Trustee of the NRA Foundation. Following service with U.S. Senator Kerr of Oklahoma and as an Army Captain, he founded Williams & Jensen, a nationally recognized D.C. law firm. Williams has worked for many years to protect the Second Amendment in Congress. He graduated from Oklahoma University and George Washington and Georgetown University Law. He served as Grand National Waterfowl Club General Counsel and as a Maryland Waterfowl Advisory Commissioner and is a Diamond Life Sponsor of the Wild Turkey Federation. A Texas Rifle and Pistol Association endowment member, he also belongs to the Texas Cattleraisers and the Texas and Oklahoma Wildlife Associations. Long dedicated to hunters' rights and the Second Amendment, Williams personally financed the organization of the Congressional Sportsman's Caucus. Mr. Williams was re-elected to the NRA Board of Directors in 2003 for a 3 year term. |
