Appearing on television, radio, print: advocating Second Amendment, promoting community-oriented shooting programs. Successful, self-employed businessman, financial background, practical/knowledgeable fundraiser. Past positions WV State Association: Secretary, Chairman Silhouette, Coordinator Competitions Committee. Instrumental in winning 1979 NRA State Association of the Year Award. Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun competitor, Certified Instructor, Training Counselor, Referee. Co-Founded NRA/CMP affiliated Beckley Gun Club. President Beckley Gun Club when it received NRA Club Achievement Award: Best Program 1980, Outstanding Club Award 1990 and 1996, Most Improved Junior Division Award 1993. Led development of two multiple range shooting complexes. Developed first Leadership Workshop for State Gun Club Leaders. Current Vice President County Recreation and Park Authority. Active supporter of NRA, ILA and more places to shoot. Mr. Miller was re-elected to the NRA Board of Directors in 2003 for a 3 year term. |
