Three times nominated by the NRA Nominating Committee and an NRA Life member. Currently serving as member of the Public Affairs Committee and the Publications Policies Committee. Active hunter, shooter, handloader and sportsman. has hunted every region of the U.S. as well as foreign countries. Bill regularly demonstrates his dedication to the preservation of the Second Amendment and its pivotal role in the preservation of all civil liberties guaranteed under the Constitution. Career in media includes managerial positions with the Chicago Tribune, New York News, US. News & World Report and the Washington Times. Has served as a Regional Director with the Salvation Army, member of "Los Angeles Mayor's Neighbor-to-Neighbor Program," donated over 120 pints of blood to Red Cross and others. Has focused on the illegal incursion of the government into our civil liberties and fought to protect all of our members' rightful interests. Mr. Bauer was re-elected to the NRA Board of Directors in 2003 for a 3 year term. |
