CONTACT YOUR FEDERAL LAWMAKERS WHILE THEY'RE ON BREAK |

Congress is still on its Memorial Day Recess, but is scheduled to
go back in session next week. This weekend would be an excellent
time to try to meet with your federal lawmakers in their
districts and urge them to support the Senate's version of H.R.
4051, "Project Exile: The Safe Streets and Neighborhoods Act of
2000" (see FAX Alert Vol. 7, No. 12), and S. 2609, the Wildlife
and Sport Fish Restoration Programs Improvement Act of 2000 (see
FAX Alert Vol. 7, No. 21).
Also urge your Senators and
Representative to oppose any juvenile justice bill that contains
the Lautenberg Gun Show amendment. District office numbers
should be listed in the blue pages of local telephone books, or
you can use the "Write Your Reps" tool at
www.NRAILA.org.
