The 129th NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits held last weekend set an all-time record for attendees, as an estimated 52,000 people came to Charlotte, N.C., over the course of three days to show their support for NRA and the Second Amendment. Approximately 5,000 new members joined at the event, which ran from May 19 to May 21.
The NRA-ILA Grassroots Workshop on Friday, May 19, saw an incredible turnout of 350-plus volunteers, who were treated to presentations by NRA-ILA Executive Director James Jay Baker, Grassroots Division Director Glen Caroline, and several other ILA staffers. Your Grassroots Division added more than 600 new volunteers to the NRA-ILA Volunteer database, and 125 previously unregistered voters were registered to vote in the November elections.
