MORE OUTRAGEOUS ANTI-GUN RHETORIC

U.S. Representative James P. Moran (D-Va.) is the latest anti-gun extremist to join Bill Clinton in publicly accusing NRA of being responsible for the criminal misuse of firearms in America. Moran, a self-proclaimed former boxer, claims that on April 7, he was the victim of an attempted carjacking by an eight-year-old boy. The boy, according to Moran, claimed to have a firearm as he demanded his car keys.

The Representative told the Alexandria Gazette, "Thanks to the National Rifle Association, I couldn't be sure he didn't have a gun," but he eventually worked up the courage to grab the small child and forcibly detain him. The parents of the boy, however, have filed assault charges against Moran, and investigators are still looking into what really may have happened.

In the meantime, according to the Washington Times, the boy, an honor student, has offered to take a polygraph test. The Representative, for once, isn't talking.
