Having relied on the strong support of gun owners in his election, Governor George Pataki has turned his back on the Second Amendment. The Governor recently vetoed a life-saving measure that would have placed the Eddie Eagle Gunsafe Program in New York schools. And now, without warning, during the Tuesday night ABC News broadcast, Governor Pataki unveiled a package of outrageous measures that rival even Bill Clinton's latest gun control schemes. George Pataki has even proposed "back door" gun registration by proposing that the so-called ballistic fingerprints of every firearm sold be submitted to authorities.
