PATAKI ABANDONS GUN OWNERS

Having relied on the strong support of gun owners in his election, Governor George Pataki has turned his back on the Second Amendment.

The Governor recently vetoed a life-saving measure that would have placed the Eddie Eagle Gunsafe Program in New York schools. And now, without warning, during the Tuesday night ABC News broadcast, Governor Pataki unveiled a package of outrageous measures that rival even Bill Clinton's latest gun control schemes. George Pataki has even proposed "back door" gun registration by proposing that the so-called ballistic fingerprints of every firearm sold be submitted to authorities.

Call Governor Pataki at (518) 474-8390 and let him know that he should take responsibility and start enforcing the laws already on the books -- and not trample on the rights of law-abiding gun owners.
