The February issue of the Saturday Evening Post was almost unique, at least for a publication that does not focus on the shooting sports. This issue contained a cover story featuring NRA President Charlton Heston, as well as other firearm-related articles, covering topics such as youth shooting programs and Olympic shooting events and competitors. Stories about Heston and firearms are not rare, of course, but the Post's coverage was -- the stories were all positive! Unfortunately, a small number of anti-gun subscribers seem to have found the Post's unwillingness to promote the "mainstream media's" anti-gun bias objectionable, and have dropped their subscriptions. If you would like to take the place of one of these anti-gun individuals who are afraid to be exposed to unbiased reporting on firearms, please call the Saturday Evening Post at 1-800-829-5576, and show your support by subscribing today. And if you do subscribe, let the Post know why, and let us know by sending us a fax at (703) 267-3918.
