The Clinton-Gore Administration's former Secretary of Labor, Robert Reich, has joined the ranks of those who condemn his ex-boss's attempt to highjack the legislative process. Reich, writing in the Wall Street Journal, recently blasted the Administration's support of the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) plans to promote taxpayer-subsidized lawsuits against legitimate, lawful firearms manufacturers. While he supports "gun control," the former Secretary nonetheless commented that the Clinton-Gore team, "[f]ed up with trying to move (anti-gun) legislation...is launching lawsuits to succeed where legislation failed. The strategy may work, but at the cost of making our frail democracy even weaker."
